Aran Ron
Managing Director
Dr. Aran Ron is a mission driven executive who has a passion for the growth, financing and success of innovative and impactful health care organizations. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Columbia University Schools of Business and Public Health he went on to train in internal medicine at Cornell New York Hospital. He was the former President and Chief Operating Officer of Group Health Inc/Emblem, Medical Director at Oxford Health Plan and at New York Downtown Hospital. He was a founder and President of Partners Health Plan (a special needs Managed Long Term Care plan).

He was an Operating Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners and was part of the founding team and Chief Medical Officer of Oscar Health Plan, Pager and Kaden Health. He is an investor, board member and consultant to various early-stage companies and has participated in several fundraising rounds and exits including Oscar, Data Driven Delivery System, Pricefalls, Kaden, Accuity Driven Systems, Nalari and Third Wave. He is currently on the board of Second Wave and Coral as well as a Limited Partner and advisor to several funds including HC9 and Moskow Family Office.

Dr. Ron has lectured at Cornell Medical College (where he was awarded best teacher of the year) and Columbia Business School. He has published articles in medical journals and served on local and national committees such as URAC. He is devoted to giving back to the community and has served on several non-for-profit boards including Metropolitan Council on Poverty, Board Chair St. Christopher Inc and Vice Chair at New Jewish Home. As a sports enthusiast he has a passion for many activities including skiing, golf, tennis, paddle tennis and swimming. He lives in NYC and enjoys spending time with family and friends going to dinners, theater and all the city has to offer.
