Faisal S. Charania, Esq.

Faisal S. Charania, Esq. is a seasoned executive, attorney, and multi-unit franchise investor with deep expertise in M&A, private equity, and franchised consumer-facing businesses. As CEO and Chairperson of Dogwood Brands Company since 2020, he leads the firm’s acquisition and growth strategy across the U.S. and internationally, focusing on aggregating small businesses in the retail and foodservice sectors. With operational oversight of more than 60 franchise units across four states and a combined annual revenue exceeding $20 million, Faisal brings strategic, legal, and operational insight to each venture.

Previously, he served as General Counsel at Hampton River Partners, where he structured capital funds and ensured compliance with securities regulations. His leadership roles also include serving as Corporate Secretary, VP, and Associate General Counsel at Prime Communications—the world’s largest authorized wireless retailer—where he supported the acquisition and operation of thousands of stores across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. He concurrently held General Counsel roles at InLight Capital and Lighthouse Property Development, overseeing acquisitions and liability for hotel assets and mixed-use commercial properties, respectively.

Faisal holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and dual B.A. degrees in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Texas, the U.S. Tax Court, and the Southern District of Texas. Multilingual and globally connected, Faisal is a founding member and Learning Officer of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Century City Chapter and serves as AI Champion for the YPO Retail Network. He is also an active member of YPO Vail Valley and YPO Mosaic, expanding his influence and collaboration across diverse executive leadership circles.
